— ARCHIVE — film | documentary C.WARE || CONCEIVED AS AN IMAGE-BASED INTERVIEW PROJECT FOR THE CLASS OF ALEXANDER ROOB AT THE ACADEMY OF FINE ARTS STUTTGART, EDIT | AN INTERVIEW IN IMAGES TRANSLATES A CONVERSATION WITH CHRIS WARE INTO A SEQUENCE OF VISUAL FRAGMENTS. RATHER THAN DOCUMENTING THE INTERVIEW IN A TRADITIONAL TEXTUAL FORMAT, THE PROJECT EXPLORES HOW DIALOGUE CAN BE REINTERPRETED THROUGH IMAGE, COMPOSITION, AND TYPOGRAPHIC STRUCTURE. THE WORK REFLECTS ON MEMORY, NARRATIVE FRAGMENTATION, AND THE VISUAL LANGUAGE OF COMICS, CENTRAL THEMES IN WARE’S PRACTICE.
