typographic portrait
the typeface lenn was developed as a typographic portrait based on personal preferences lenn was asked to identify three favorite typefaces from an existing collection garamond gill sans egyptienne through manual redrawing overlapping subtraction and addition of forms these references were transformed into a new synthetic variant the result is a hybrid typeface that translates personal preference into form and extends the documentary book into a typographic system
